We have been offering inclusive leisure activities for children and young people for 30 years now. Our activities are diverse: Europe-wide adventure education trips for children and young people, sports activities, fixed group activities and changing leisure activities in open child and youth work.
At this point, we are always looking for support and offer jobs and internships.
Internship
In our inclusive open children’s and youth recreation center Indiwi in the BDP in Berlin-Kreuzberg we offer 1 internship for people who are in educator training or social studies. We are happy to accept applications by email to: indiwi@bdp.org.

Wanted: team leaders for trips for children and young people
Throughout the year, Indiwi in the BDP offers inclusive experiential educational trips for children and young people. All trips have a different focus and we cover different age groups. What all trips have in common is inclusion, a connection to nature, a focus on the group and cooperative elements and close and personal work with parents.

Wanted: Leader for cooking program on Tuesdays
Do you enjoy cooking and would you like to accompany and guide children and young people in trying out their own recipe ideas and favorite dishes? Then we’re looking for you! From May, we need a new manager for our cooking program in the inclusive, open children’s and youth leisure facility Indiwi in the BDP. Every Tuesday in the time from 15-19 o’clock
What are your tasks?
Preparation and follow-up of the cooking program
Guiding the children in the implementation of recipes and the preparation of meals
Teaching basic food preparation techniques

Assistants
Wanted: Assistants for the Indiwi everyday assistance service
With our “everyday assistance” from Indiwi e.V., we offer parents of children with disabilities regular, hourly care for their child.
What are your tasks?
Looking after a child or young person with a disability during leisure activities, e.g. visits to the playground, outings or at the child’s home. Accompanying the child to appointments is also possible.
Cooperation with parents
Requirements:
Minimum age 18 years
Basic pedagogical knowledge

Accessibility
Our facility is located on the 3rd floor and is accessible by elevator. The elevator is operated with a key – please ring the bell downstairs. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet, handrails in the corridor and signage with simple symbols. The nearest subway stations Kochstraße (U6) and Spittelmarkt (U2) are barrier-free.
