Outdoor trip to Sweden

Scouting and experiential education | Sinnerbo, southern Sweden

Description

The many lakes, rivers and forests make Sweden one of Europe’s most diversified countries in respect to nature. Our goal is Småland in southern Sweden. This region is characterized by a particularly large number of lakes and rivers and is ideal for our trekking trip. The small village of Sinnerbo will be our starting point. From there, we cross the Småland region in canoes or on foot with our gear strapped to our backs. Our daily milestones take us through beautiful and varied nature. One moment a dense forest, the next rough, moss-covered rocks. We hike in small groups for 5 to 6 days in a 60 km radius from lake to lake, setting up our tents and cooking over the campfire at night. After this time everyone will meet back at our starting point in Sinnerbo and the second part of the trip can start. Sinnerbo is a natural area surrounded by woods and meadows. We will spend the remaining days here with you gaining experiences and being in nature. We will spend the day outside, building, swimming, doing handicraft work and playing. The journey will be with a coach bus and a ferry.
