Adventure trip to Lychen

Adventures and scouting | Lychen, Brandenburg

Description

For adventurous teenagers and young adults that are looking for new challenges, Lychen is the ideal place to expand their horizons and enjoy memorable outdoor experiences. This beautiful location among the picturesque Uckermark offers an abundance of activities that provide both thrills and teamwork. The challenge trip to Lychen promises an unforgettable time in nature—from canoeing to hiking.

The trip takes place at the nature resort Kolbatzer Mühle, an idyllic location surrounded by clear lakes and lush forests, where the participants and counselors will set up their camp together.

With a map and compass we will set off on an exciting journey of discovery through the woods and trails of Lychen. We learn to adapt in nature and overcome obstacles together. After a full day of challenges we will gather around the campfire, exchange stories and sing together. The journey will be by coach bus.

Information on costs

Our trips are directly supported by the Berlin Senate for Education, Youth and Family. This enables us to guarantee high quality and a very good ratio of supervisors, as well as a very socially acceptable participation fee.

The participation fee for all trips depends on income. In certain cases (low household income, transfer benefit recipients, foster children, many children in the household) the participation fee only has to be paid proportionately. In this case, proof (e.g. income tax, income tax or citizen’s allowance notice) is required and must be submitted.

Apart from the participation fee, there are no costs, all services such as insurance, accommodation, meals, arrival and departure, as well as the loan of any material required (sleeping bags, rucksacks) are included in the price!

Increased support needs

Children with increased support needs incur so-called disability-related additional costs. These costs can be applied for from the youth welfare office. If the Youth Welfare Office refuses to cover the costs, you have the option – if you have a care degree – of claiming the costs from the care insurance fund via the prevention care (from care degree 2) or the relief amount (from care degree 1). This also requires a timely application, which you must submit independently. Of course, we will be happy to support you if you need help with this. Ultimately, you can also bear the costs yourself.

Accessibility

Our facility is located on the 3rd floor and is accessible by elevator. The elevator is operated with a key – please ring the bell downstairs. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet, handrails in the corridor and signage with simple symbols. The nearest subway stations Kochstraße (U6) and Spittelmarkt (U2) are barrier-free.
